STP-7000 High-throughput Automated Sample Transfer System

Safely remove liquid biological samples from a variety of sample collection tube types, including screw-capped, swab style, microtubes and others. This high-throughput system can automatically transfer 192 samples from airtight or plain tubes into two, 96-well microplates in 40 minutes.

From Sample to Report in One System

Designed for labs with high volumes of incoming biological sample collection tubes, the STP-7000 integrates tube de-capping and re-capping, barcode identification, and liquid transfer to microplates.

This system transfers liquids from tubes safely, with no human intervention, in a free-standing, fully-enclosed negative pressure cabinet for out-of-the-box operation, robust quality, and reliability. The system can be configured with three sets of tools for small, medium, and large containers, ranging from microtubes to 50mL tubes, including VT, saliva, and feces containers.

  • Dual sensors scan both tubes simultaneously
  • System transfers tube barcode to plate output text file
Screw Caps
  • Standard finger-sets can work with a variety tube types
  • Tubes are re-capped with the SAME cap after sample has been pipetted
  • No need to align bar codes facing in any direction
Vacuum Sealed Containers
  • Decapper can be configured to remove vacuum tops or screw caps
  • Tubes are re-capped with the SAME cap after sample has been pipetted
  • No need to remove swabs from tubes in system
