Applications

Stereo-seq Revealed a Potential Therapeutic Target

Stereo-seq transcriptomics FF solution identified transcriptional alterations in neuronal clusters spatially associated with amyloid-beta plaques in a 5xFAD mouse model, revealing ZNF460 as a potential therapeutic target.

The Stereo-seq transcriptomics FF solution’s nanoscale resolution and whole-transcriptome coverage enabled the precise mapping of gene expression changes around plaques, highlighting disruptions in laminar cortical structure and cell-cell interactions during Alzheimer’s disease (AD) progression (Zhang et al., 2023)

Stereo-seq transcriptomics FF solution revealed tertiary lymphoid structures containing CXCL13+ cancer-associated fibroblasts, stem-like CXCL13+CD8+ T-cells, and B/T follicular helper cells.

Stereo-seq Uncovered Cellular Diversity in Rat Brain

Stereo-seq transcriptomics FF solution combined with DNBSEQTM sequencing profiled over 1.5 million cells in the rat brain, revealing the nanoscale spatial organization of transcriptionally distinct regions. The integration of ultra-high-resolution Stereo-seq with advanced clustering revealed 15 distinct spatial gene expression clusters, highlighting functional and structural domains within the brain.

This workflow demonstrated how the Stereo-seq FF transcriptomic solution revealed intricate spatial heterogeneity and functional specialization within brain tissue by mapping the differential expression of myelination genes, such as Mbp, Ppl1, and Ugt8, across subpopulations.
