Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is characterized by a highly immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, where interactions among tumor cells, cancer-associated fibroblasts, and immune cells can promote progression and limit therapeutic response. Understanding these interactions in their spatial context may help identify therapeutic targets and inform the development of new treatment strategies.

In this webinar, Dr. Yuan Sui will present research on the oncostatin M – oncostatin M receptor (OSM-OSMR) signaling axis in the pancreatic tumor microenvironment using human PDAC samples, ex vivo tumor slice cultures, multiplexed imaging, and spatial transcriptomics. The presentation will highlight how Stereo-seq OMNI was used to resolve transcriptional changes following OSM stimulation and OSM-neutralizing antibody treatment, revealing spatial programs associated with stromal remodeling, immune suppression, and tumor-stroma-immune interactions.
