Responsibilities:

This senior position will be a contributing member of a design team developing a state-of-the-art high-speed imaging system.  This will involve opto-mechanical design, the integration of fluidics management systems and the development of a mini-environment for the tool.  Additionally, this position will provide design support for a proprietary consumable and design the tooling necessary to bring the consumable into high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS Mechanical Engineering.
  
• 10+ year track record of designing complex instrumentation or capital equipment.
  
  
• Machine design, fluidics systems, optical packaging and motion systems.
  
  
• Skilled in the use of SolidWorks a must, experience with CosmosWorks and Floworks highly desired.
  
  
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work in a team-based environment required
